A Virtual Prayer Gathering of Song, Movement, Silence & Prayer
An Observance of Queen Esther’s Day of Fasting and Prayer

Monday, March 2, 2026
13 Adar 5786
5:30 AM PST | 8:30 AM EST | 3:30 PM ISR

On the day of Esther’s Fast (Ta’anit Esther), we gather in song, prayer and presence. On this day, we pray for our world. We pray for the children. We pray for the birthing of the world we are yearning for. We pray for the strength and courage to bring our collective voices and our actions into the world—just as Esther did.

Over the course of our time together, we will weave song, prayer, spoken word, and silence, creating a shared prayer field.

What to Bring

• Your Self

• Cup of Water

• Your Journal

• A Candle

• Bonus: Bring your crown

May this gathering serve to offer love and wellbeing into our collective prayer space, and support each of us in stepping forward with clarity, courage, and compassion.

More about the Fast of Esther (Ta’anit Esther)

The actual fast begins on March 2nd at 6:28 AM EST and ends at 6:16PM. The fast traditionally commemorates the fasting of Esther and the Jewish people during their exile in the Persian Empire, as they faced the threat of annihilation and chose courage, unity, and prayer.

The fast is observed from dawn until nightfall on the day before Purim.

Importantly:

• Ta’anit Esther is not one of the four prophetically ordained public fasts

• Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and those who are weak or ill are not required to fast

• Participation may take many forms: fasting, partial fasting, prayer, witnessing, giving tzedakah, or holding intention

Gather with Gabriel Meyer HaLevy for an experiential journey of awakening and healing through song, chant, movement, playing, deep listening, and interactive meditations bridging holiness and playfulness.

We will create a safe, playful, and sacred space to cultivate the virtues of courage, flexibility, and presence, drawing from the wellsprings of Kabbalah, Sufi wisdom & other Sacred Wisdom traditions.

Space is Limited.

Testimonials:

"Looking to connect with yourself, others & beyond? I highly recommend you check out Gabriel. Back in the day, I was intrigued to see him transform into a whirling dervish while expressing what looked like a kinetic cosmic fu of the world. His charismatic movements matched his poetry and song and after we met, I learned it was also in harmony with who he was as a person. Time to 'Elevate in the Play shop."

FAQ

What is Cacao?

Cacao has been known through the millennia as a very important source of physical and spiritual nourishment. It was a measure of exchange, and its value is increased by sharing! In the Mayan tradition, cacao has been used for millenium as a sacrament of Love and is known as the “Food of the Gods”, and an “Elixir of Love”. Sacred Cacao is a very gentle heart opening medicine. Cacao allows you to connect with yourself and others in a deeper, more loving way.

Cacao is a tropical fruit, rich with antioxidants, known to contain an amino acid called tryptophan that the human brain uses to produce the neurotransmitter Serotonin, which can increase feelings of overall happiness. When consumed, cacao stimulates the brain to release endorphins, lower our stress levels, and give us a general sense of wellbeing.

What is a Cacao Ceremony?

A Cacao Ceremony is an ancestral way of prayer in MesoAmerica where all participants drink the sacred food as a symbol of communion to oneself, to nature and to the creator.

Nana Marina Cruz is Maya Tz'utujil. She is Ajq'iij also called a Nana or spiritual guide, in Tz'ununya San Pedro la Laguna, Guatemala. She is a ceremonial leader and conducts fire and cacao ceremonies and is also a teacher of the Mayan calendar and the Mayan cosmic vision. She is the daughter of Tata Pedro & works not just as a healer and therapist with natural folk methods, but as a ceremonial leader of fire, tobacco, cacao and sweat lodge, and teaches native Mayan languages. She emphasizes the importance of being truly connected in body and spirit. She believes that everything has a meaning, everything has an origin, every emotion, every disease has an origin. By finding the origin, you can truly heal the spirit and body. @naan.marina.official
